Maintenance

We offer many options for keeping your POS system under a Maintenance Agreement. There are 3 important parts of maintenance: 1) Software Membership (upgrades); 2) Call Center Support; and 3) Hardware repair. These services can be purchased at a discount combined or ala carte.

Software Membership:

The Software Membership can be purchased separately if requested. The POS software product you have selected is a long term investment that retains its value through upgrades and enhancements. Kline Business Solutions POS Software products are constantly enhanced and improved annually. In addition to the new features & capabilities that arrive in new versions are demanded by the marketplace to remain competitive, the primary reason to stay on the current version of the software is to remain PCI Compliant. The credit card laws and regulations change very frequently and to remain compliant you must remain on the most current version of the software. They also offer new functionality and features to improve your businesses bottom line and enhance your ability to compete in the marketplace. This subscription plan only provides the right to newer software versions. Most upgrades require installation services and/or training services to be implemented properly. Often newer versions that have major enhancements require that the features be explained, specified, programmed, and implemented. Often training is required for management. These services are billable outside of any current support contracts.

Note: When users have elected, in the past, not to enroll in the Radiant(Aloha or Counterpoint) Software Subscription plan at the end of the original warranty period, Aloha assesses a onetime re-enrollment charge based on the time period that has elapsed since the original warranty expiration date. Please note, that if you are not on the most certified version of the software, you are NOT compliant.

Call Center Support

Our normal call center business hours are Monday through Friday 8:30am until 5:00pm. We do have someone on call and available for support 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week. Unless otherwise noted on your sales agreement, all new systems purchased come with 1 Year of access to Business Hours Call Center.

Hardware Repair

All new equipment purchased from Kline Business Solutions comes with 1 year of hardware support (unless otherwise noted). Hardware maintenance is for on-site in Louisville and Lexington Kentucky. All other locations outside of that are repaired through our depot service center. The customer is responsible for shipping the equipment in for repair. In most cases, we can repair it and return it for shipping the same day.
